    The siren call of Trump is resentment and grievance.
    The grievances can vary but they need to include at least one of the chosen out-groups: women, non white people, queer people or immigrants.

    And people can choose to prioritize one part of their identity over another: So like a Hispanic man can place his queer hatred over his ethnic one, or a black man can place misogyny over race.

    We’ve seen this before, where suddenly people who thought they were members in good standing of the Volk are shocked when they are pushed into the cattle cars. It’s where the meme of Leopards Eating People’s Faces came from.Report
