Just in case you have kids around, this takes a pretty shocking turn in the middle.Report
I was thinking, I’ve seen this commercial, and then it (gloriously!) went off the rails.Report
So many memories:
Report
I love that one!Report
I couldn’t remember what it was selling, just that it was a parody. (Was it on Chapelle’s Show? Something like that?)
Imagine my disappointment when I remembered that it was a mainstream commercial selling a mainstream product to a mainstream audience by being “edgy”.Report
that was, ah, not really something I think we needed to see? on this website? that sometimes I tell people to visit? eh?Report
I thought it was hilarious (with or without the plot twist). Sorry if you guys didn’t like it. I’ll keep that in mind in future selections (at least putting up a “gross” warning – though I’m not usually big on gross and this is an exception so it’s probably not likely to be a common occurrence.).Report
I really did like it, and my kids are older so it was not a big deal, we had a good laugh over it, but I would have been less pleased had I had little ones present. My fault really just took me by surprise, but a heads up would have been good.Report
I liked the 90’s spoof part. Very well done. But then after its twist it didn’t have any more material. It should have been about a minute shorter. And this might just be my sense of humor, but I think it could have been funnier if the twist happened without any acknowledgement.Report
Agreed that just leaving it after the twist would have been just fine. I’m reminded of at least one early Peter Jackson movie; if you haven’t seen it and weren’t repelled by the twist in this video, you’ll probably have the same reaction.Report
I just saw Basket Case and two of the Re-Animator movies recently. I’ve been working my way through “vintage film”.Report
I love this commercial, which is a real one. It’s not violent or scary, just (deliberately) annoying as hell.
