      1. Yeah, if he’s 10 there, he’s 16 for the Great Depression.

        1940 sees him turn 27.

        If he makes it intact to 1946, though… well, he’s in clover.

        Hell, that could be Don Draper.Report

      2. What strikes me here along those lines is the grown-ups’ strutting that turned out to be so emblematic of Italy and Germany in WWII. The boy looks much more like the slouching American GIs who couldn’t march for sh*t but learned quickly to be damned good at killing.Report
