Gotta agree with the duck here. Also, any time you're working with anything that involves the ocean you're talking about an undertaking that will have massive corrosion/wear/weather problems even under the best of circumstances. Salt water is extremely unkind to most materials.
I think the Cosbey show thing would work for a short time but then Casey-Werner and/or Paramounts' lawyers would quietly get in contact with TikTok and your account would be deleted in short order with very little public commentary on the matter.
Eating the apple core and all is the only way to eat an apple as far as I'm concerned. If it's a good apple then the core is just a very slightly less good part of said apple and not eating it is utterly wasteful. If it's not a good apple then why're you eating the apple at all?
Yeah that makes sense, they're in the wilderness because they weren't left enough? Refresh my memory, are our current left most politicians from sapphire blue districts or purple/red ones? How many swing districts have unabashedly left wing candidates or left wing parties captured? When emphatic left wing candidates, like Bernie for instance, ran in the primaries how many of this silent majority that is quietly waiting for true left candidates flocked to the polls to put them over the top? How many congressfolks or local offices have the DSA and Greens captured?
Of all God's creatures there is only one that cannot be made the slave of the lash. That one is the cat. If man could be crossed with the cat it would improve man, but it would deteriorate the cat.

Reality based more like it; I don't consider reality to be innately transphobic. Trans men are, on average, slighter and more lightly build that their non-trans male compatriots- they simply don't present a believable threat to non-trans men. The dynamic is reversed for trans women which is why the rights incendiary charges and accusations find some measure of traction.
Well of course trans men aren't a threat- they don't have the biological context in mens' spaces that gives the trans woman in womans' spaces the bite it does. Quite the inverse actually.
Housing is a big challenge and it cuts against a lot of both intrinsic voter preferences and fashionably left wing notions. I remain optimistic that liberals are going to figure it out in time but they'll doubtlessly squirm and buck against it because it is politically very difficult.
That remains to be seen. Carney is far more of a technocrat than Trudeau was/is and doesn't have the burden of that last name either. Canada's liberals have, in the past, been very capable economic stewards (and, to be fair, so have Canada's Tories though that was before their destruction and resurrection in their current context).
I have no beef with Uncle Bern and AOC's gatherings- I apologize if that wasn't clear. I'm unenthused by Slotkin and MGP's behavior but also not raging in outrage at it. For Bernie and AOC- I have no particular beef towards their actions. In all honesty I think rather highly of AOC. I don't agree with her on many things but I think she's a fantastic Congresswoman and I'm delighted she's in the party.
I'm not particularly happy about those actions by them either but I also can't get terribly exercised about them so long as they show up with their votes when they're needed.
In all honesty I can't muster any ill will towards Manchin generally; but I consider Sinema an utter mess and am profoundly glad she got drummed out of the party (and we kept her seat too!!)
That's all fine but you seem to be talking messaging and vibes more than anything. When we're talking about nabbing purple or even red Senate seats we need Senators who'll carry their elections and vote for Dem judges and generally support the Democratic Agenda or at least be willing to negotiate on the matter; not candidates who give blue state liberals like you and me a happy feeling down our legs.
Manchin worked tolerably well with the Democratic Party, especially considering his replacement. I don't see why we shouldn't be okay to even thrilled about getting a bunch of Blue dog or Manchin like Senators if the alternative is Republican ones.
I've not said they're only college students, I've observed that much of what Lee is fuming about is signaling and posturing on the internet and various gestures and ticks of the DEI left who are, at best, only one seat at the larger Democratic table.
I took my left hand off your throat, where do you get off saying I'm strangling you!??! My right hand? Let's not talk about my right hand- I took my LEFT hand off your neck! Why are all these anti-semites accusing me of being a strangler? I took my left hand off their neck.
Gosh, sounds like it's even more imperative that the source of their ongoing proliferation, multiplication and radicalization should be addressed before they reach a point where they aren't confined to mere talk? No? Okay well then continue swatting at the lawn with your stick. It doesn't look like it's working but at least it lets ya vent.
Unless they become DA's with authority over Israel then they're no threat to Israel even if they become DA's. I agree they present a threat if they grow to the point where they can swing elections and dominate or even strongly influence a party. They're not there yet. When Lee and you and I were kids they were just moss around our toes. In the aughts they were ankle high. Then Sharon withdrew from Gaza and they got cut back, I'd say by about a quarter and then only started growing again as the sunlight (Various forms of persecution and slow motion ethnic cleansing that, in this internet era, the Israeli's can't suppress or deny) from the occupation of the West Bank kept pouring down. Now they're probably about knee high.
Lee is running around screaming about the growing plants. I, and many friends of Israel, keep saying "You won't stop them by flailing at them. You have to cut off their light." But it's easier to just curse at the plants then cut off the occupation so here we are.
That's a post Netanyahu proposition. He can't do any of that stuff and stay in power. It's an open question if he can stay in power past the end of their current war which is one major reason the war isn't ending.
