When I was playing regularly, I could sit down and reconstruct every shot in the round after I was done. In order tell you that I got a five on hole #7 I had to replay the hole in my head and count them.Report
I only started enjoying golf when I stopped counting strokes, but since I tore my rotator cuff mumblemumble years ago I can’t even swing a club anymore.Report
I gave it up when my spine got old and stiff enough that I couldn’t rotate properly. I don’t have any back problems generally, just lack the range of motion of youth (or even middle age). When I get up in the morning and rotate my head to the left and right as far as things will go my neck crackles, which is kind of spooky.Report
