The election tech company Smartmatic has unloaded a 285-page, $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit in a Manhattan court against Fox, Lou Dobbs, Maria Bartiromo, Jeanine Pirro, Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell.

I see them demanding that Fox (a) punish the talent, (b) openly admit they lied and publicize it, and (c) give up large amounts of prime time space for the companies to run well-done documentaries on how remarkably secure US election systems are, and the equipment is.Report

Were Hannity and Carlson named in the lawsuit? I thought it was just the three Fox Business hosts. As I recall, when Smartmatic first sent the threatening letter, Fox ran pieces with guests refuting the fraud claims in the Hannity and Carlson time slots, but made Dobbs answer questions himself.Report
