At season’s end, the Giant smile remained, with the Giants winning the NL pennant by 10.5 games with a record of 103-48.
[*] The Los Angeles Dodgers went 51-10 over 61 games in 2017, so this is not the best 61-game stretch in MLB (or even NL) history. There might be even better stretches than that one.Report
