The sessions I remember weren’t quite that late. Both houses where we had an infant/toddler had a natural walking loop that went through the family room where the TV was. I became an expert at the “baby bounce” dance step with one of them, temp around 103 °F, burrowed into my neck. How fast could you go through the part of the loop away from the TV, how slow could you go where the TV was visible? I became an expert at following the East Coast 10:00-11:00 pm police procedurals while seeing only half of the screen time. The first child preferred to fox trot, the second to waltz. And there are people who say that learning ballroom is impractical.Report
