    Attorney-client privilege is a basis for declining to respond to a question that seeks privileged information, not a basis for not showing up at all.Report

      yeah well a good many of Trump’s minions seem to think otherwise. Of course they also think and Ex-President can assert Executive Privilege . . . . The interesting part for me will be what role Rudy asserts he was playing in the war room . . . .Report

    This afternoon the SCOTUS denied TFG’s application to deny the Commission access to his records while President on the grounds of executive privilege. Justice Thomas would have granted the application. Justice Kavanaugh wrote something saying he wouldn’t go that far, but did not regard the Appeals Court’s decision as precedent for anything beyond this case.Report
