I went to a pool hall with friends in August. I’m not a smoker myself but the lack of tobacco and bright lights really didn’t get the disreputable atmosphere those places are supposed to have right. The suburban strip mall location in Fremont didn’t make things better. A good pool hall should be in a basement or second/third floor of a mid rise building and have a certain sort of good people don’t go here vibe to it even if it is perfectly safe.Report
