Just to give the backstory for those who don’t know, putting the baby outside for fresh air a couple hours a day was de rigeur. I have a couple older parenting books, including one of the earliest Dr. Spock guides, and their advice is emphatic to let the baby nap on the porch, even in cold weather. In Nordic countries they still do this, and even some of the Scandinavian governments have it in their governmental recommendations to parents.Report
Considering what we’re learning about how kids develop allergies this seems like tolerably good advice even now, though- obviously- you wouldn’t leave the little raisin unattended.Report
