I never said Baltimore schools were great. I'm sure there are plenty of other cities with schools that are just as abysmal.

Anyway, Freddie isn't quite as down on American public education as you seem to be. At least, that's what I take from his piece.

I'm with you. IIRC, the American soldiers will killed by a suicide bomber, and I don't really know how you prepare for that. We're probably lucky it was only 13.
