Way back when, more than two decades ago now, Dumbya was really good at saying something that would energize his own base to the point where they sounded like Eagles fans and make his opponent’s base start screaming bloody murder leaving people on the fence having to figure out which of the two groups of nutcases was slightly *LESS* nutty.
The best example of this was Bush’s “Bring ’em on!” statement. This got a “YEAH! HELL YEAH!!!” from Team Evil, a “he’s actively telling terrorists to *KILL* *AMERICAN* *TROOPS*!!!” from Team Good, and folks in the middle were stuck trying to figure out which of these two teams was less crazy.
Anyway. I have seen multiple (as in more than three) clips from this press conference flying around twitter from both Team Evil and Team Good hooting and hollering and screaming bloody murder.
Turn it back up to 11 and take your phone with you to the bathroom, you won’t want to miss anything.Report
