    • “Henchmen” implies that they have a personal relationship with him, a friendship of sorts. Not a friendship of equals, but definitely some affection and regard running back and forth. Possibly even trust.

I say these fake electors are better called “minions.” Perhaps “pawns.” Expendable, given a job to do, and certainly not worth protecting.

I think the Grand Order of things goes from “Lieutenants” to “Henchmen” to “Minions” to “Pawns.”Report

  1. Here’s the thing: even his supporters know he’s guilty as hell of one if not all of these things

-the know that he paid off Stormy Daniels. The only defense is legal arguments about whether it was technically a crime

-they know he stole government documents. And, caterwauling aside, they know that this was fundamentally different from what Clinton or Biden did.

-they know, conspiracy theories aside, he was part of went on during J6.

The just don’t care. The Cult of Personality is too strong. He could go on TV right now and look into the camera while strangling people and they’d still vote for him.Report
