I think he had a regular golf comic that was supposed to be about golf but there’s only so many things you can write about golf when it’s 30-degrees outside so trips down south (and other people taking trips down south) were an angle he had to lean on a lot.Report

I think often about running the Hairbreadth Harry strips here because they’re also likely in the public domain and are really wonderful. The problem is I can never seem to find the first strip. The comic artists of that time were remakably prolific and imaginative. At one point, the cartoonist Charles Khales had eight Sunday cartoons running at once with no assistants!Report
