Yes, he allegedly got ‘unauthorized access to video evidence that was involved in a criminal investigation’, but have the courts ever ruled explicitly on a cop doing that while wearing the exact same hat as him?Report

  3. I saw this opinion piece and immediately thought of a handful of cases where officers did the right thing and then got fired or disciplined for doing so.

    Then I read the opinion piece and it mentioned a couple of cases that I had heard of and a couple that I hadn’t.

    Which kinda undercut the piece, if you ask me.
