A few years back I was at the grocery and nearly stepped on a folded bundle of bills. More precisely, three hundred-dollar bills. I turned them in to the store manager and he gave me a receipt, as store policy was that if no one showed up to claim them within ten days, they were mine. A couple days later the manager called me to say that the same afternoon I had found them, a long-time customer — little old Latina grandmother — showed up in tears because she had lost three hundred-dollar bills.Report
