Yesterday the tag line was that Giuliani was going to “negotiate an end” to the investigation. I felt annoyed that I never knew that was an option for my clients.
Seriously though, I think he knows his stuff, so maybe this will be a good thing for everyone, IF the president will listen. That is one hell of an IF. He will also need to keep himself out of the limelight, no pontificating on cable news etc. That is also a solid maybe, in my opinion.

I strongly suspect most people in corporate jobs are cynical and suspicious about "enforced fun," etc. So that doesn't make you weird.

Or they're factoring in administrator salaries. Numbers in education as to what a person makes are gamed ALL THE TIME.

According to the AAUP numbers, I "should" be making $70K a year. I don't. I am sure it's because there are a few folks in CompSci and the B-school here who are paid a lot more because they're allegedly in "hard to hire people to teach" specialties.

Either deliberate obfuscation on their part, or that they just don't know how some universities work.

Though I think if she were officially on sabbatical, that would have been made clear, either by the university or by her. (Or then again: I may be projecting how *I* would act onto another person)
