The Rules of Golf are short, simple, and for the most part dictated by common sense and the principle “You hit it there, you play it from there.” The ball winding up in a tree crotch isn’t a special case. You either play it from there, or you declare it an unplayable lie and drop appropriately, adding a penalty stroke.Report
