      I would guess that it’s made up to be a play on words of bunker fuel, and bunk as in malarkey.

      The only references to PFD itself are process flow diagram, and the Permanent Fund Division, who are the peeps in Alaska who manage their oil money. (Which started well after this cartoon)Report
