New High Elf Faction DLC for Total Warhammer 2 just dropped. Some nice concepts in there. Per usual all the concepts are half baked and the meta game is still stupid… this “game” is mostly a sandbox where they hope people will mod in the fun. This is my love/hate game.Report

Jaybird, did you ever try Burning Daylight, available on Steam? It’s free to play.Report

Those of you who enjoy psychological horror but might not have the best reflexes need to check out Cultist Simulator. (We talked about it here.)

It’s 50% off on the Steam (and DLC is 33% off).

There’s a lot of reading. There’s a lot of paying attention to different timers. It’s not a good game for when you’re watching a movie in another window. Or after dark.Report

“Portal-sploitation Creepypasta” has become a mini-genre, games that amount to “everybody died, now use this physics mechanic to move through the environment while a disembodied voice yells at you”.

There’s also Q.U.B.E., which is fun; honestly I’d get the original version that doesn’t have any voiceover, the “special edition” doesn’t change the gameplay or the maps and the voiceover is kind of cliche’d and silly (I rather like the weird feeling you get from just wandering around this immense environment that’s completely devoid of anything remotely human, but when I first played QUBE I was also really into BLAME! and that’s a whole comic about just wandering around an immense environment completely devoid of anything remotely human.)Report
