More from Steam here, and there might be more in the comments. I haven’t checked!

Also, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey is free for the weekend from Steam, and then heavily discounted if you want to keep it afterwards.Report

Ooooh! Those includes a bunch of local/online 4-player multiplayer. And the Tomb Raider they’re talking about isn’t the one from the 90’s… it’s the one from 2013! And the reviews put it at “Overwhelmingly Positive”!Report

Odyssey is a great game–if it’s heavily discounted it would be a bargain of a game. A person will get a lot of good gaming hours from it, and it’s beautiful.Report

I played the NES port of Ultima IV back when it came out, I guess 1990 or so. It was prettier than the PC version, and had some nice music, but the keyword dialog system was totally ripped out to accommodate the four-button controller and/or save on ROM space. You’d walk up to the NPC and push the button, and he’d say his lines and that was it. It wasn’t a completely different game, but it was very different.

I tried the GOG port last year, and just couldn’t get into it. After a couple of hours, it just felt like a chore. I can see how it would have been great in the 80s or early 90s, but I just can’t get into that mindset anymore.Report

  3. My GOG library cup runneth over, in fact I already have some of these in my library! Don’t even get me started on my Steam library! Great write-up of some great games.Report

I have plenty of games to dip back into: Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, Red Dead 2, and I have a Jurassic park game that was free on xbox live to start. And I could always revisit Skyrim or Fallout.
I also have plenty of painting to do for my Star Wars Legion miniatures, mostly detailing as everything is primed.Report

There was a run on Nintendo Switchs because of lockdown it seems. Unless you want to pay a mark up on Amazon.Report
