    It also probably helps that this is the studio that made “The Witcher 3”, a game so successful and popular that it got a TV show. When you’ve got that kind of juice you can afford to push back a release date.Report

    I find this less than perfectly persuasive because, as you can see above, we’ve known about Cyberpunk 2077 since 2013. When was the Xbox One released? 2013. How’s about the PS4? 2013 as well. They’ve had the hardware specs for more or less the entire time the development has been going on.

    That said, hey. The guy who said that in the Polish interview they linked to is apparently the Jason Schreier of over there… which means that he’s an insider but not an INSIDER insider.

    I’m just irritated because this might mean that I might have to budget for a PS5 if I want to play this thing the way it was meant to be played (because a computer that can play it at that level is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay outside of my budget currently).Report
