    Isn’t the occasional false positive a price worth paying if it means that we can avoid false negatives?Report

      I think a lot of the violence we see on the African savanna can be traced back to Youtube clips taken from Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom and other nature shows. Young lions and cheetahs are watching that trash and getting bad ideas about eating gazelles.Report

    Evidently it wasn’t just you. Apparently something about The Algorithm decided that “non-human entities engaged in arena combat” was cockfighting and put it in the auto-ban bin.

    Which, on the one hand, ha ha that’s so funny and easily corrected, but on the other hand how did YT suddenly start banning thousands and thousands more videos than normal with tags completely unrelated to the supposed bannable activity and nobody running the shop noticed?Report
