What jumps out at me is the casual attitude of “Man decides at the last minute to take in a play.” At least in my metro area, while there are live plays showing pretty much every evening, deciding at the last minute that you’ll go is sort of a non-starter: chances are good that tonight’s performance is sold out. I suppose the contemporary equivalent is hitting the movies.Report
