At the time, it sounded like a bombshell report..In the end, the SI juggernaut suffered death from a thousand pinpricks and the whole thing ended with a whimper. You know it’s bad when the NCAA publicly says your report is unfounded. Most of us pretty much forgot about the whole affair. That is, except John Talley, who filed a lawsuit against SI in July 2014 over some of the claims made in the report.
