    Hockey: Ballsy kid. Kudos.

Alexa: I’m waiting for someone to hack this thing and give Alexa “personality” like when they did that to the MS AI that spewed out racist comments. Sniff, God bless ‘merica.

Desilu: I remember seeing that name on the Lucy show and always thinking “She’s got her own company producing. Nice move”. She was in a class by herself.

Passport: Well, exposure to alternative views of morality does tend to all one to question your own preconception. I credit my extensive travelling to finding it difficult to pass my companies “Foreign Corrupt Practices Ac” training every year. Sadly, there is not a response to the program, when it says “it seems you have a differing view of US law”, such as “The law is an ass”.Report

The passport study will end up a Talk Radio talking point on how people from the heartland who don’t travel are more moral than these effete cosmopolitans from the coast that do.Report

If there’s the possibility of something else, then it’s easy to convince yourself that you’d be happy with something else–something that you haven’t gotReport

I’m named after an RPG character of mine, who took on a life of her own. She in turn was more or less named after Veronica Mars — although I do like the name on its own terms. So there is that.

We get to name ourselves. It’s pretty cool.Report
