Rufus, have you read We Got The Neutron Bomb? I think it would be right up your alley.

Also, check out Kid Congo Powers‘ blog. He was an original member of the Gun Club before joining the Cramps and then the Bad Seeds. Was definately swimming in the early LA punk sea.

Great review, I will look for it, as this is one of my favorite scenes music wise.Report

I’ve had a few people tell me to read We Got the Neutron Bomb. I’ll definitely check it out.

I saw Kid Congo last time he played Hamilton with the Pink Monkey Birds and have most of his records. I’ve been a Cramps weirdo since I was about 15- they were the band that got me into a ton of other bands and subgenres. He’s a really interesting musician and I found he was very friendly in person.Report
