Is it still on? I remember watching it and quite enjoyed it.Report

Nope. got Two seasons, and then Comedy Central axed it for something stupider. Because Comedy Central. (At least they had reason to axe Robot Chicken — the toys started to fall apart).Report

I also thought Ugly Americans was excellent. The ridiculousness of it combined with a really good choice of voice actors (mostly stand up comics) just made it work. I think it was canceled at a time when they had a pretty powerful lineup for late night–South Park, The Daily Show, Colbert, etc., and the figured a show that was merely “good” was a waste of 30 minutes in a valuable time slot and they could easily fill it with another super-hit. Not so much.

Now TDS and Colbert are both winding down and South Park has been on the “Find one topical joke and beat it well beyond a horrifying death,” formula for years. @Midnight is always fun, but it’s stuck being run at midnight. I hope Larry Wilmore gets his bugs worked out and settles in. Broad City seems like it would work pretty well next to Ugly Americans stylistically.Report

Wow. This sounds bizarre. And funny enough, you say? Sort of a “Men In Black” or “Hellboy” vibe is what I’m getting from the review.

I’ll look for it on my Hulu.Report
