    The 90’s was the Time Of The Braves, although I liked the ’97 Series the best as I listened to almost every game on the radio driving to and from cases out of the area.

    I still like to fantasize that ’94 would have resulted in a Boston-Chicago Series. Ah, well.Report

    I remember falling asleep during game 7 of the ’97 series thinking, “Good for the Indians. They deserve a WS.” I woke up very confused.Report

    if the Braves’ Lonnie Smith had been able to score from first on an 8th-inning double

    Important to note that the reason why he didn’t score is that the Twins’ SS and 2B pantomimed a double play, fooling Smith.

    This was also the last game that Jack Buck called for CBS Television. He continued to call Cardinals games for CBS-owned KMOX.Report
