  1. Fantasy Supreme Court!

    🙂

When do we get the skype rendition of Stop, In the Name of Love?

  2. A five-member Court, eh? Should we picture that four justices have retired, and the GOP Senate refuses to schedule hearings for any of Obama’s nominees?

    1. I can’t speak for my brother and sister Justices on Ye Ordinary Court, but I got here through a completely non-partisan and apolitical process (viz., I showed up) and I much prefer it that way.

      1. It would be interesting to see how that — the “I showed up” part — would work in the real world. I can see the lead in the story now: “In a 34,732 to 31,986 decision, the Supreme Court decided today…”

  3. Please please please reassure me that you’ll all write with somewhat more brevity than the real life Supremes do? I only have so many hours in a day, you know.

  4. “or maybe you figured none of us felt knowledgeable enough about its subject matter to take it on”

My sister is a lawyer and so is one of my oldest friends. I *KNEW* that wasn’t it.

(but seriously, I’m super-excited about this!)
