Dread!

Glyph

Glyph is worse than some and better than others. He believes that life is just one damned thing after another, that only pop music can save us now, and that mercy is the mark of a great man (but he's just all right). Nothing he writes here should be taken as an indication that he knows anything about anything.

I can’t say I like it, but I can’t stop listening either. “My name is Judge Dread, and I don’t care” may be the line that says it all.

Also, WTF is the perfect tag for it. Or OMFGWTFBBQ!Report

I must have listened to “Up With The Cock!” 5 times the other day, and giggled like an idiot each time.

This probably says more about me, than the song.

In a weird way, it makes me think of Paska.

Paska is/was a Finnish “band”, consisting of one man, who performs a capella. (“paska” is Finnish for “s**t”).

Anyway, he did a pretty awesome cover of Motorhead’s “Ace of Spades”, that I can’t find on YouTube. But here’s a different performance:

Oh, and if anyone is interested, AVClub just ran a pretty good roots reggae primer. Lots of good stuff in the piece and comments:

Judge Dread is not included, strangely enough.Report
