Scott Adams Might Want to Kill You
And he has no bones about saying as much.
Co-blogger extraordinaire Vikram Bath once made a strong case for why “angry, frightened, or scared people are [not] the best decision makers”. Given the tone of Adams’ post and the context in which he wrote it, it seems fair to declare him angry, frightened, and/or scared. Yet, I find his argument a compelling one in large part because he has an experience that I do not and, thus, seems better qualified to comment on it than I. Perhaps he is not best positioned to do so, but better than most?
Separately from that, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on physician-assisted suicide. If you are opposed to the practice, how would you respond to Adams? If you are in favor of the practice, would you hold Adams’ piece up as Exhibit A in the fight? Regardless of where you stand, has Adams forced you to change your mind at all?
