I will never read a website hosted through Patheos again. While I don’t mind advertisements, I do mind advertisements with audio that start automatically. At a deafening volume. And that re-spawn, at the same deafening volume, after I turn on mute. Maybe there’s a way to control that. But I don’t care. If that happens to me too many times at your site, I won’t be back.

Weird. I just opened Slacktivist and didn’t get any rude adds. I even linked around in the site without adds. I do have an ad blocker installed, tho…Report
