Tim Tebow has not been cut by the Patriots.

There are still cuts to make and Tebow is still on the proverbial bubble… but Football is still safe.

    For now.Report

Hey, on the bright side, you can be pretty sure that there’s not a streak of 4 straight Super Bowl losses anytime in the Bills foreseeable future.Report

Not so long ago, some friends and I were at a bar, having more drinks than we probably should have, and we got into an extremely heated discussion about whether it was worse to be a Cubs fan or a Bills fan. I’m still not sure which side I fall on.Report

Kazzy – Thank you for kicking me while I’m down (though the GIF of the drunk dude falling over was outstanding). Is it sad that I completely understand the reaction of the fans at McFadden’s celebrating the 2011 win over the Pats, which was identical to the reaction at the bar where I was watching that game in NoVa? (Seriously, grown men were crying on the shoulders of complete strangers). It was the one moment of joy we’ve had since the Forward Lateral game. Also, too: that list somehow left off the 2009 primetime game against the Pats where the Bills blew a double digit lead in the last 2 and a half minutes thanks to Leodis McKelvin fumbling a kickoff return.

Chris: Cubs fans at least have Chicago and a home stadium that is an internationally recognized house of worship. Bills fans have Buffalo and an aging, soulless stadium named after their 148 (approximate) year old owner. Also, too – at least MLB isn’t doing everything it can to make Cubs fans as miserable as possible by doing things like banning seat cushions in a stadium that has an average temperature of 2 degrees Kelvin (approximate) for the second half of the season. (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/06/26/bills-fans-not-happy-about-seat-cushion-ban/).

On the other hand, no NFL fan base can out-tailgate Buffalo, even if the No Fun League has unjustly moved Pinto Ron off-site.

The New York Football Giants are the only team to win two Super Bowls in the last 7 years.

The New York Yankees are the last MLB team to 3-peat.
