    • Alexisonfire qualifies as post-hardcore, so the comparison to Black Flag (one of the seminal hardcore bands) is apt. However, Henry Rollins didn’t quite do that death-metal snarl, though. And Greg Ginn’s guitar stylings are wonderfully/ridiculously unique.Report

    In all fairness to Alexisonfire, they did provide a nurturing petri dish for the considerable talents of their guitarist Dallas Green, aka City and Colour.

    Then again, he was born in St. Catherine’s, not Hamilton.Report
