    I didn’t realize Posner had been around that long, but it does make sense for him to say he’s become less conservative since 1964.Report

    I do have to take issue with one point in the article. Friedman was never a conservative, his thinking was always classical liberal / libertarian. He gets counted as conservative only because the conservatives were occasionally willing to listen to him.

    I think it’s relevant that of the two conservatives Posner admires, only one of them was a conservative in the first place.Report
