  4. I think I can spot the point where you lost interest in the dialogue:

    Tiberius: Could I interject?
    Nerva: So it would seem.

    It was really quite engaging before that. Then you went for the cheap stuff. You give up too easily, Barrett! Don’t underestimate your audience!Report

      Several of the lines before that were pretty cheap, actually, and most of the call-and-response insults at the beginning were kind of trite. You are right about that particular exchange, though. I tend to get irritated by my own writing style.Report
