Sounds like “Scanners” but with a tire. Surely he could do better?Report

@scott, I’ve no idea. I’m just amazed that he could get cast and crew to sign on after explaining his idea, or that the finished film has secured distribution. But maybe it’s a really good telekinetic killer tire movie…Report

You’re sure it’s not about a person that can use his mind to blow up tires?Report

    • @Mike Schilling, No, that would make sense. According to the article, it’s, “saga of a car tire abandoned in the desert that somehow comes to life. “Robert” discovers that it can telepathically destroy objects and animals, and then turns its new powers on humans, with bloody results. “Robert the tire has to be the most unforgettable villain of the decade,” says Magnet’s Tom Quinn.” I’m wondering if the guy didn’t wake up one day and say, “I just had the craziest dream. We’ve got to make a movie out of this!”Report
