    I think we all got his point — Ididn’t really thing it was so so bad (even though I actually disagree that even if a true Napoleon-Hitler hybrid was taking over the government, the right answer, at least at first, would be assassination.) But in retrospect, given the topic under discussion and the beliefs of the people whose tactics he was trying to reject, it was pretty head-slappingly dumb way to try to get around to a condemnation of tactics.
