Interns Galore!
As a long-ago DC summer intern and a six-plus year DC commuter, this site is pure genius. I’ve got a lot of favorite posts, but for anyone at all familiar with the Capitol Building, this is absurd/funny on about 10 different levels (ok, at least 3):
Recently, an intern with a tour group decided to give his entire explanation of statuary hall, statues and all while using the ‘whispering spot.’
Man, I really could have used this last summer, when I was the DC intern, haha. (With the Foreign Service Journal, if you’re curious.)
Thankfully, I can safely say that pretty much no one in my immediate group acted in such a way as to get on this blog, though certainly the same cannot be said for everyone in my program. One Bank of America International Finance intern passed out drunk on a bench at the Chinatown Green Line station, only got back to his dorm thanks to my help, and then never thanked me because he had blacked out.
Oh well. Passing it on.Report

Uh, whoever’s in charge of it, please delete my first comment. I messed up the HTML. Thanks.Report
