    Once, today was known as “God’s Friday,” and the pronunciation has changed over time. Similarly, people used send each other off saying, “God be with ye,” which has since been shortened to “Good bye.” Somehow or other, God become Good when we talk; perhaps the English language is trying to tell us something.Report
