It seems what is really at issue here is narcissism, an individualism in which the individual’s value is measured solely by where he stands in relation to other individuals. If an individual has more toys than his neighbor, then in his mind he is John Galt – never mind that Rand’s John Galt created a truly world-changing invention beyond anyone’s imagination whereas these faux Galts do things that are done by tens of thousands of others.Report
